It was said earlier that the official postage date was 21st however due to adverse weather conditions orders to Scotland will have to be placed by the 14th to make it in time for Christmas.

Parcelforce UPDATE 13/12/2010
Whilst we
havent been able to accept orders since the latter part of last week
for the majority of Scottish postcodes, we will start accepting orders
again for delivery into Scotland from Tuesday
14th December. However, in order for us to be able
to deliver these parcels by Christmas, we will not be able to take any
more orders after Friday 17th
December - this will be the last despatch date for deliveries
into Scotland before Christmas.
